The Spirit and Heritage of The American West Comes Alive


On Saturday, October 12th, THE GREAT WESTERN will debut in the heart of Fort Worth, transforming the iconic grounds of the Dickies Arena into an unforgettable celebration of the rich and diverse cultural heritage that has long shaped the great American West. Curated by Ryan Bingham, this one-day event will take fans on a vibrant journey through the heart and soul of the West, featuring high-energy rodeo traditions, live music from celebrated artists, authentic cultural showcases, and much more.


The Great Western is more than just a music festival; it’s a meticulously curated celebration of Western culture. The event will kick off with a diverse array of indoor and outdoor daytime experiences, bringing the festival experience to life in an entirely new and immersive way.


A lineup that includes a blend of established and emerging talent will entertain festivalgoers with a genre-defying exploration through Western music’s past, present, and future.


The Bull Ring Pavilion will come alive with a fusion of high-energy competition and age-old traditions. Invited bull riding athletes from various associations and promotions, including the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo, Cuernos Chuecos, Indian National Finals Rodeo, International Professional Rodeo Association, Professional Bull Riders, and Ultimate Bull Fighters, will compete in an exhilarating western showcase of skill and camaraderie.


Additionally, the festival will bring to life interactive art and cultural exhibits, alongside family-friendly events like mutton busting, stick horse racing, and Chuckwagon cookoffs, and much more - ensuring there is truly something for everyone.
